  2. Research is a natural process which explores a phenomena and it is related to the mind of the research.

In the research there is common sense or intuition, but it is limited on value because it is superficial and it is supported on unexamined beliefs; on the other hand, scientific research, explore a phenomenon in conducted systematically.

In this way, scientific research describe, identify and control relationships among phenomena in order to reach conclusions about it after ruling out its explanation of a theory, a methodology or strategy and so on.
This findings are categorized in four kind of knowledge in second language adquisition:
    Type 1: Belief
Something we want to believe but we it hasn´t proved.
    Type 2: Authority
This it is derived from intellectual authorities in developing research.
    Type 3: A Priori
It is founded on some previous systematic empirical works or observation.
    Type 4: Empirical
This is maybe me the most common, which it is supported when we interact with the world in our daily life.

There are also three kind of research on second language adquisition which are vinculated to each other and is not unidirectional.
Basic. It is to create theorical models.
Applied. It is when this theories, methodologies, etc., will be applied in a real context for proving if it works.
Practical. It is about which material will be needed in which context.
